What do you use instead of wheat flour?

Our recipes use our own special blend of flours made from rice, potatoes, sorghum, tapioca, and other gluten free grains and starches. We are always happy to answer any questions about our gluten free products.

What is the shelf life of your products?

We recommend eating our goodies as soon as possible (2 to 3 days). Placing in airtight containers helps preserve freshness. All cakes and pies should be refrigerated and taken out around an hour before eating.

Are all your products gluten free?

We only sell gluten free cakes and goodies. Our equipment is never used for items made with wheat, barley, rye, or oats. We regularly check each manufacturer to confirm that no gluten has been added. Do you offer Vegan/GF, Dairy-Free/GF cakes and "Butter cream"?

Yes, we have branched out, we offer a variety of Vegan/GF cakes, DF/GF cakes, egg free/GF cakes---- and vegan "butter cream".

When is payment for my wedding cake due?

The deposit of 100.00 "save the date" is due upon placing your order and the day you execute you contract. The remaining balance is due NO LATER than two weeks before your wedding date. (The deposit is non-refundable/transferable). We accept cash, check, or charge. You may pay with the methods listed, but we do not accept checks after the due date. All decisions and changes must be finalized by 2 weeks before your event.

Can we place the wedding cake outside?

This is not recommended in the summer months.

What decorations are available?

Our designs are customized for each client. Your cake can include inscription, piping detail, flowers, and fondant decorations.

Do you offer any cake toppers, cake tables, plates, or serving utensils?

No, we deliver and setup the cake only. You are responsible for purchasing all non-edible items to decorate the wedding cake. Your cake can be decorated with fresh flowers provided by your florists.

Can I have different cake batters/fillings in my wedding cake?

Absolutely, tiers can be different flavors. However, we find that the majority of couples stick with one/two flavors for the entire cake, only because this eliminates guests not getting their favorite preference. There is also an additional charge of just 20.00 per flavor after the first flavor, and if you choose multiple flavors you should increase the quantity of cake ordered to allow your guests to try them all.

Do you offer cake tastings?

We offer a complimentary consultation and cake tasting is the best way to determine your design and cost. Bring any ideas, pictures, and color samples to assure your special cake for special day is just as you envisioned. Please only three cake flavors per tasting.

What can I expect during a cake tasting and consultation appointment?

We begin the appointment with a cake tasting of three cake flavors of your choice. We then help you determine the cake size, design, and flavor combinations. By the end of the appointment, you can choose to place a $100.00 non-refundable deposit to secure your wedding date, make a finalized order, or confirm your decision later.

What is the deposit to reserve my date? ("Save the date" deposit)

A $100.00 fee is required to hold your date, and placed toward the total cost of the cake, this is non-refundable.

How far in advance should I place my order?

We ask that you try to provide 3 months for multi-tiered cakes. The further you book in advance the better it is to work through the details of your cake. That being said, we try to accommodate all our celiac clients try to take Rush orders on a case-by-case basis and may incur a rush fee. We typically cannot take wedding cake orders with less than a 2 weeks’ notice, even if a rush is requested.

What is the smallest three tier cake that you can make?

The smallest three tier will serve 74 people.

What is the smallest two tier cake that you can make?

The smallest two tier cake will serve 50 people.

What if I need to make changes to my order?

Any changes (date of order, quantity of guests, flavor, or decorations of the cake) must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.

Do you offer fondant icing?

Our trademark is our buttercream icing, and we do ice all of our cakes with our buttercream icing, and are able to obtain a smooth fondant appearance; therefore, sacrificing flavor for appearance is not necessary. However, in order to accommodate our clients, we can also fondant cover your wedding cake if this is your preference for an additional cost.

What exactly is fondant?

Fondant is a sugar dough that is rolled and placed over an iced cake.

Is it safe to place fresh flowers on a cake?

Not all flowers are safe to be placed on a cake. Flowers that have been sprayed with pesticides should not adorn your cake, and some flowers are toxic to people. Your florist will know which flowers are acceptable and safe. Your florists is generally responsible for placing flowers on your cake.
