Gluten-Free Cheddar Cheese Crispies---

These Cheddar Cheese Crispies are similar to cheese straws, and oh so yummy. Super easy to make from gluten-free Rice Krispies, they make a great appetizer during football season. Eat them hot or put them in a container and snack on them later.

Let's make some Cheddar Cheese Crispies!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups gluten-free flour
  • 2 cups gluten-free Rice Krispies
  • 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Dash Red Pepper (to taste)

DIRECTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Melt butter in a small saucepan.

  • Combine flour, cheese, Rice Krispies, salt, and red pepper flakes.

  • Add butter. Mix thoroughly.

  • Roll into balls and flatten on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.

VIOLA!

We have gluten-free Cheddar Cheese Crispies! Eat hot or cool and store in tin.
