Gluten-Free Cheddar Cheese Crispies---
These Cheddar Cheese Crispies are similar to cheese straws, and oh so yummy. Super easy to make from gluten-free Rice Krispies, they make a great appetizer during football season. Eat them hot or put them in a container and snack on them later.
Let's make some Cheddar Cheese Crispies!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups gluten-free flour
- 2 cups gluten-free Rice Krispies
- 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Dash Red Pepper (to taste)
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan.
- Combine flour, cheese, Rice Krispies, salt, and red pepper flakes.
- Add butter. Mix thoroughly.
- Roll into balls and flatten on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
