Gluten-Free No-Bake Oatmeal Cookies

Gluten-Free No-Bake Oatmeal Cookies---

Cookies are the perfect size for snacking, incredibly popular, and especially amazing when they are gluten-free. Then add the bonus of no-bake and chocolate, and you have reached dessert heaven.

It is hard to believe that such a yummy gluten-free dessert requires so little effort. Literally, these cookies can be completed in about 10 minutes an have only 7 ingredients!

Let's make some cookies!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup baking cocoa, unsweetened
  • 3 cups gluten free oatmeal (must have gluten-free on package)
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. gluten-free vanilla

DIRECTIONS:

  • In a medium pan, combine the butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa.

  •  Bring to a rolling boil, and boil for about 3 minutes.

 

  •  Remove from heat, and in a larger bowl combine the oats, vanilla, and a dash of salt.

 

  • Line a pan with wax paper and drop a rounded tablespoon of mixture about 3 inches apart.

 

 

 

  • No-bake cookies will harden as they cool.

VOILA!

Grab a glass of cold milk and enjoy!

 

Remember: Oats are often cross contaminated with wheat and barley, so make sure that the package has a gluten-free assurance on the package.
